Description:
A remarkable but variable species that we collected seed of on Fansipan the highest mountain in North Vietnam. Where it grew in the dense forests and in full sun on the open mountains. Forming a small to medium sized shrub, with thick textured serrated leaves sometimes purple below. Bearing terminal cymes of blue fertile flowers, subtended by white to blue sterile florets during early summer-autumn. Sun or partial shade in any good moist soil.
