Description:
Forming a single stem 50-90cm tall, with a whirl of dark green leaves, topped with several deep orange dark spotted flowers a curious fan shape. A beautiful long flowering species we collected seed of from the exceptionally cold mountain of T'aebaeksan in the centre of South Korean peninsular in the autumn of 1993, where it grew in woodlands and on shaded grassy slopes. Best grown in cool well drained acidic soil with ample humus to retain moisture, in light to full shade.
