Bearing long narrow racemes of white flowers May-June that result in the 2-3 joined inflated seed capsules rounded in outline and approximately 5cm long, that are conspicuous by autumn, red tinted if grown in direct sunlight. From one of our seed collections gathered from the Mtirala Forest, Georgia, where the Batumi Botanical Gardens were hosting us.
