Pot Size: 5 litre Price: £35.00 Description: From seed we collected from a small shrub growing from a cliff within a forest on the Chiba Peninsula Japan in the autumn of 2006. Where it formed a distinctly textured shrub with pale branches and bark peeled off into fragments on the older stems. Carrying large softly textured hairy leaves and dense terminal corymbs of small lilac flowers surrounded by large creamy sterile flowers, all having emerged from large golf-ball like buds of enveloping bracts (involucre). Best grown in a moisture retentive soil in light shade of a woodland.
