Description: A most unusual form of this completely herbaceous climbing species, which thrusts forth 3-4m of annual growth in late March-April. With distinctly narrowly leafleted much divided leaves and axillary clusters of pale yellow locket-shaped flowers June-Aug, followed by large bunches of inflated seed pods hanging like grapes. Easily grown in a site sheltered from strong winds and late spring frosts with adequate drainage. Syn. Dicentra
