Description: From cultivation in Japan a form of this species with slowly creeping rhizomes with arching brilliant red stems of alternate leaves, bearing white bell like flowers with green tips, during May and June. Height 60cm. Spread 60cm. Requires well-drained soil. Thrives in partial or full shade.
