Followed on female plants by bright red fruits if plants of both sexes are grown. From one of our seed collections gathered in the cool altitude of the mountain forest on the island of Shikoku, Japan in 2006. Easily grown in part-full shade in any type of fertile soil even on chalk, being careful not to change the level of the soil.
