Description: An isolated colony which is a rare subspecies, of this deciduous, woody-stemmed aerial rooting climber, that we collected in 1996 from the Central Mountains of Taiwan. Bearing elliptic-ovate leaves and lacy terminal cymes 15cm wide of coral-pink lace-cap like flowers in summer. Height to 5m. Best grown with the top growth in full sun for flowering, with the base in a moisture retentive soil preferably in shade.
