One of few temperate zone plants with naturally pink and white leaves, that occur when the leaves are exposed to sunlight for part of the day, colours well for us on a tall north facing fence that catches the sun in the mornings. Male lightly scented white flowers are borne in the leaf axils in spring, which pollinate the female flowers of our intertwining female clone.
