The upright stems carry the broad lance-shaped leaves. One of the best doers for us without any hardiness problems to -15C in open fields. Height 1.2-2m spread 60cm. Easily grown in full sun to part shade in a moisture retentive fertile drained soil protect the rhizomes from frost with a mulch in cold areas.
