Description:
A very hardy deciduous woody climber with twining stems to 6m long, bearing pink tinged white flowers in clusters from the axils of the elliptic leaves from March-June. Followed by, when the female flowers are pollinated, showy pendant spikes of red fruit to 15 cm long. Although both male and female flowers are born on the same plants (at different times) it is usually necessary to have a second clone as a pollinator. Easily grown in a humus-enriched soil, in part shade-full sun. One of our collections from South Korea. This is clone A of this seed collection.
