Description:
A rare whitebeam from our wild seed collection in eastern Nepal in 2002, gathered from a remote trail towards Thudam close to the Tibetan border above the Arun River. Where it grew next to a stream on a steep rocky bank. Forming a robust medium sized tree with a wide canopy, bearing pointed ovate serrated leaves that were white below, to 25cm long. Bearing terminal clusters of large orbicular orange blushed fruit. Easily cultivated in any well drained fertile soil in sun or part shade.
