Where this robust species grew at the edge of the forest off a boulder strewn track/riverbed, forming tidy clumps of sizeable mottled palmate leaves infused with strong autumnal hues, due to the already sharp frosts. With flowering stems to 75cm bearing sizeable strong-pink white eyed flowers overlaid with a dense web of dark veins from mid summer till frost. Easily grown in any type of fertile drained soil in either sun or shade.
