Soon settling down in our garden where it has formed a large multi-stemmed shrub 5m tall by 3-4m wide, with corky branches of semi-evergreen broadly lance-shaped grey-green foliage, bearing glorious terminal pendant panicles of individually large red foxglove-like flowers for weeks on end late spring-early summer. Easily grown in full sun in a well drained soil with some moisture retention, protect from cold while young.
