Pot Size: 1.5 litre Price: £10.00 Description: One of the reasons we just had to return to Taiwan in the autumn of 1993, was to collect this plant. Where we found it growing in the high altitude forest at 3,000m, creeping along the dark forest floors occasionally rooting at its leaf nodes, forming light carpets of stunning foliage, which is shallowly trilobed, while the upper surface is zoned with black and silver. A non-aggressive slender spreader to only 10cm tall spreading gently depending on moisture, although the best coloured foliage is in dark dry shade. The flowers are white followed by bright red fruit, cut hard back in spring. Easily grown in most types of fertile drained soils, best in shade. Also capable of being grown as a climber with support.
