Description: A remarkable plant, for the way it re-emerges in spring, thrusting its new glass-like new growth through the ground to a height of 1m, in a week. Holding its stately foliage like fans, with locket-shaped flowers that are large mid yellow. For a cool protected site in a leafy (probably best in acidic) soil. Recently renamed Ichthyoselmis, possibly to make it more appealing to gardeners who like tongue twisters!
