Description: A rosette forming rather tuberous-rooted woodland perennial to 30cm across, with large bristly haired blue-grey-green lobed leaves. Bearing a flush of sizeable open cup-shaped, golden yellow flowers in spring and intermittently through the summer on hairy upright branched stems to 30cm tall. Preferring rich woodland conditions in partial-full shade in a moisture retentive well drained soil. Drought tolerant for short periods.
