Description:
A most unusual prostrate shrub, with procumbent stems that root at the nodes while forming an evergreen blanket of tiny veined leaves, all be it on a demure scale. Bearing in mid-summer pairs of fragrant pink frilly flowers from many of the leaf axils which subsequently transform to long lasting curious bright scarlet fruit. Easily grown in cool shade in a low-lime humus rich soil that is kept moderately moist.
