Description: A highly prized small evergreen tree or shrub with an undeservedly poor reputation for hardiness, which has grown in our gardens for many years without any cold damage. Bearing an arresting display of flower heads with showy subtending creamy yellow bracts which age pink, June-July, followed in October by large strawberry-like fruit. Best grown in a sheltered site out of cold winds, sun and well drained soil. Ht 5m.
