A relatively large climbing herbaceous perennial with broadly elliptic serrulate leaves with venation impressed above, sometimes lobed at the base. With the very distinct scented flowers held in clusters on long stalks from the leaf axils, comprised of long white tubes expanding abruptly to one side. Best grown in protection from hard frost although this collection is from high altitude.
