Renowned for its elegant thin textured tri-lobed broadly ovate leaves which are a bright green all summer transforming to one of the best autumnal deep-yellows to fiery-oranges available. While bearing large green rounded fruits on the female plants in autumn. Best grown in sun to part shade in a freely drained acid-neutral soil with some moisture retention. Our mother plant which is hermaphrodite, was from one of our seed collections gathered from the Kii Peninsula in southern Honshu, Japan in 1998.
