Pot Size: 8.5cm Price: £15.00 Description: A new easily grown species to cultivation bearing a large number of small purple white tipped flowers in generous quantities at ground level, during the growing season, late season outdoors. The upright foliage is broadly lanceolate glossy deep green, held well above the flowers on long slender petioles. A useful introduction from China by Pépinière des Avettes France, several years ago. Collected from the type locality in Leshan, Sichuan, China. Best grown in a well drained soil in full to light shade out of freezing winds. Waterlogging will rot the plants, has survived -15C, but responds well to heat.
