Forming a woody base with ascending leafy stems to 50-120cm bearing the ternate, opposite leaves, with narrow bell-shaped pink flowers in terminal and axillary clusters, late summer-autumn. We have grown this in an open field for many years without any protection. Best grown in sun to light shade in a fertile drained soil.
