Forming a small to medium sized shrub to 1.5m tall with showy lacecap inflorescences, consisting of pink (blue in acidic soils) fleshy central fertile flowers surrounded by palest pink three sepalled florets June-August. Easily grown in most types of fertile drained soils in sun or light shade.
