Only forming low spreading shrubs 75cm tall (half that here) on the old shrubs we collected the seed from, on an exposed ridge on Hohuanshan in the Central Mountains of Taiwan at 3,250m in the early winter of 2003. Bearing sizeable white broadly funnel-shaped white flowers with dark red blotched interiors, in trusses of10-20 March-April.
