Bearing dense terminal clusters of small white scented flowers in spring, followed on female plants by bright red orbicular fruits if pollinated. From one of our seed collections gathered in the vicinity of Yuan-Yang Lake in the north of Taiwan in November 1999. Part-full shade sheltered from cold winds in any type of drained fertile soil.
