Pot Size: 2 litre (deep) Price: £30.00 Description: An elegant fairly restrained and easily grown species with small Schefflera-like slender leafleted leaves, bearing long slender male flowers (longer than coriacea) and broad female flowers that are even larger, both are well scented. From one of my collection from Long Zhoushan in Sichuan China back in 2000. Where Dan Hinkley and myself found only the cast off fragments of the fruit as some helpful soul had eaten most of the fruit. Sun or light shade in a drained, but moisture retentive soil. Closely related to and similar in habit to Stauntonia. Syn. H. angustifolia, which is a different species described from Nepal in 1828.
