Pot Size: 15 litre Price: £80.00 Description: Only forming small congested shrubs where Peter Wharton and I gathered the seed of this collection, from a very exposed ridge at 2350m, overlooking the Chinese border in the north of Vietnam, autumn of 2007. Capable of forming small trees in sheltered conditions as we later saw in the forest on Fansipan, bearing branches of small elliptical simple semi-evergreen glabrous leaves with small scattered clusters of orbicular marble-sized green fruit speckled with lenticels. Best grown in a fertile well drained soil with some moisture retention protected from freezing winds when young, in sun to light shade. Syn S. ligustrifolia
