Forming a widely branched tree 17m tall with large ovate leaves 28cm long and nearly as wide. Bearing large branched pyramidal inflorescences of lilac trumpet-flowers heavily spotted purple held in 3-5s. For a fertile soil in sun or part shade, suitable for pollarding for foliage effect.
