After originally seeing it growing in the wild while collecting in the highlands of Sri Lanka. An evergreen species with slender procumbent stems that are happy enough to climb, with small elegant pinnate leaves composed of 5-9 small leaflets. Bearing from spring to autumn for us, longish bright yellow tubular flowers in abundance. Followed by black berries. Best grown in full sun to light shade in a reasonably sheltered spot, in a fertile drained soil.
