Description: A shortly running perennial species with lax stems to 1m tall in shade, less in sun. With stem-clasping leaves and pendulous terminal elongated spikes of bright pink flowers born July -September. From our last trek in Eastern Nepal with Dan Hinkley from close to the Chinese border at over 3500m in 2002. Where it grew in a moist gully. Easily grown in Sun or shade in moisture retentive soil.
