Description: A small delicate-looking tuberous rooted perennial from the mountains of The Pacific Coast area of North America. Forming small clumps from underground shortly creeping rhizomes. With strongly branched stems 30-60cm tall, bearing acuminate leaves and white flowers with protruding stamens from March-May, followed by conspicuous yellow-orange berries. Easily grown in full-part shade in humus rich, moisture retentive drained soil.
