Description: From one of our seed collections made in the Lachung Valley Eastern Sikkim with Sally Goddard in 2002 at 3260m. Of a clump forming perennial with robust branching stems (lax when young) to 1.8m tall in time. Bearing grey mealy aromatic leaves to 20cm long on short stalks, composed of 3 times parted orbicular-rhombic leaflets. Terminating in loose panicles to 30cm long of, purple-pink pendant cup-shaped flowers from July to October. Easily grown in full or part shade in any fertile well drained soil that does not dry out.
