Pulog, in the Philippines, the highest mountain on Luzon, seed we collected form a peculiar upright form (or other species) a short tree with smaller stiffer thick leaves which are covered with inflated glands. Bearing terminal pyramidical panicles of creamy-yellow flowers resulting in plump elliptic reddish fruit. Expect highly fragrant flowers as in the rest of this group. Best grown in a warm sheltered situation with some protection against severe frost, in a well drained fertile soil.
