A colourful medium sized species valued for its many attributes with the potential to be a small tree after a long time (life time). Having rounded leaves a glorious glaucous-blue in early summer white below and crowned by trusses of blood-red to crimson waxy bell-flowers, April-June. Eventually growing to a medium sized shrub when grown in sheltered conditions. Lime free soil. From one of our seed collected in 2013 in the remote high-sided valley of Lachung in the far northeast of Sikkim, northern India.
