Which we found on the over-grazed high altitude plateau of Sierra de los Cuchumatanes, also home to some of the colourful Mayan Indians at 3200m in 2004. Best cultivated in fertile soil which is well drained in full sun or partly shaded, protect the roots from severe frost.
