An exquisite deciduous shrub which smothers the bare branches in a mass of small yellow unisexual flowers in spring. The foliage is elegant thin textured elliptic to narrowly ovate, a bright green all summer transforming to one of the best autumnal deep-yellows available bearing large green rounded fruits on the female plants.
