Turning a bright red in late summer as well as the colourful new spring growth extending to 1m tall. Bearing narrow stem leaves with contrasting white midribs and lime-yellow bracts backing the terminal inflorescences June-July. Easily grown in any drained fertile soil in sun or part shade.
