Of a deciduous medium sized shrub with metallic-green rounded, coarsely-toothed leaves, long tipped and hairy below in this variety. Bearing corymbs of pure white flowers in profusion May-June, followed by an abundance of glistening red rounded fruit, contrasting with the yellow autumnal foliage.
