Description: In the same group as our native herb paris. An Eastern European small species arising from slender slowly creeping branching rhizomes to form colonies in time. With short upright stems 15-30cm tall, bearing 6-12 narrow to oblong pale green leaves 6-10cm long, topped by an incomplete petal-less green flower. Consisting of 4 sepals and elongated styles followed by a globose dark purple berry. Cultivate as for other woodland species in shade and humus rich drained soil.
