Description: Our collection of this strange looking shrub from a steep hillside, overlooking the Sikkim border on our descent from the Singalila Ridge in North India. Where they formed shrubs to only 2m tall with long elliptic serrulate leaves woolly below and terminal cylindrical upright spikes of tiny white flowers with long projecting stamen. Supposed to be used as incense in parts of the Himalayas. For a position in full sun-part shade, in any fertile well drained soil.
