Of a deciduous medium sized shrub with metallic-green rounded, coarsely-toothed leaves, long tipped and hairy below in this variety. Bearing pure white flowers in a profusion of trusses May-June. Followed by an abundance of glistening red fruit, contrasting with the yellow autumnal foliage. Easily grown in any drained fertile soil in sun or shade.
