Description:
We consider this form of this species to be the showiest for growing on a north facing wall. Originating from one of our collections gathered on the remote Korean island of Ullüngdõ. All parts are larger than the normal form, with sharply serrated fresh green broadly rotund-ovate foliage complimenting the large inflorescences, composed of fuzzy fertile flowers and large subtending white bracts. Will also flower well in a sunny site, provided there is plenty of moisture in the soil. Covers walls much faster if planted correctly. Only a limited number of plants can be produced annually due to the size.
