An evergreen for us, with the serrulate thin-textured foliage turning purple over the winter in a fairly exposed position on an east facing wall. Bearing the unique coral-green domed corymbs of lacy flowers late April to May. Height to 20m. Best in a sheltered aspect in a moist soil.
