The flowers would hardly set the world alight as they are small appearing at the very base of the leaves on peduncles directly from the underground rhizomes. Hence care should be taken with the soil level when planting. Easily grown in a container or in a sheltered spot in the garden, in full shade where the soil cannot waterlog.
