Description:
The well known passion fruit of supermarkets, which are best eaten when very well ripened, appearing very wrinkled. Here is the opportunity to grow your own plants, best attempted under protection, as they are not as frost hardy as the normal blue passion flower, Passiflora caerulea. Capable of forming a vigorous tendril climber with deeply three-lobbed serrulate leaves. Bearing the purple and white flowers throughout the summer months at 6cm across. Only suitable for growing outside in the UK in the mildest gardens.
