Pot Size: 1.5 litre Price: £12.00 Description: An easily cultivated species that has thrived in our garden for years, originating from a small piece of branching rhizome covered in gingery hair (scales). That we originally collected growing epiphytically on an old log in a very deep and dark moist gully within the alpine forest on the cold slopes of Hohuanshan Taiwan in 1993. Where it formed a loose patch of rhizomes with upright slender scaly stems (stipes) to 30cm long bearing a loosely triangular in outline 35 × 30cm fronds of the most delicate finely dissected thin texture possible. Best grown in moist leafmould in full to light shade where the rhizomes can creep along the surface. Syn. A. perdurans.
