Sorry this plant is not available at the moment. Please try again later or select an alternative plant.
The name of this species is well known, but the plant is still very rare in cultivation. Possibly as the identity has been mixed, all the same it is one of the most beautiful, when in flower. A relatively tall form of the species with 30cm upright petioles arising from slender scaly rhizomes, which can be found above ground in their natural environment. Indicating the type of drainage required. The evergreen foliage is variable 20-30cm long by up to 6cm wide. The flowers are usually held well clear of the ground, cup shaped perianths with large bright white slightly recurved lobes. The perianth interiors are purple contrasting with the white stigmas. This plant will be available in due course when we have built up enough
