Of this rare climbing/scandent perennial found growing in dense undergrowth where it was scrambling over large boulders in semi-shade. With long pendant growth to 1.5m long, of alternate ovate-serrated leaves with axillary short spikes to 4cm long, of pale purple to white flowers August to September. Best grown in full sun or part shade in a free draining soil with added humus.
