Description:
From the South American Andes, a member of the nasturtium family, with similar shaped, but much smaller foliage that forms a strongly spreading tough herbaceous evergreen climber. Arising from creeping roots to incredibly thin wiry twinning stems that hold the delicately looking bright green lobbed leaves. Bearing yellow red-eyed flowers from May throughout the summer months for us, followed by purple fruits. Plant its base in shade. Height to 10m. spread unlimited without confinement. Top growth best into sun or part shade. May loose its foliage in severe winter weather, but has remained evergreen for us.
